Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Have you ever stopped and thought about things you think, say, or do? I know that many times I’ve thought bad things and then regretted it immediately. How did we get to this? Why do we want bad things to happen to others? Is it frustration of the moment, like road rage? being cut off in traffic? jealously? So many things comes to mind when we think or say things we shouldn’t say.
To be like Christ, we are to think like him. We are to help others, not talk bad about them. I know as humans it is a hard task, because people can be very hard to love at times when they do things to us. During this week of Thanksgiving, let us stop and think about what we say and do. We know the stores are going to be crazy this week, due to shopping for meals, and Black Friday. Show some courtesy and be thankful for what you have.
